It was better than expected. I thought HK Airlines was just a budget airline with no carry on luggage, very strict fees for luggage and no meals. However, my experience with this long haul flight was that it resembled most other long haul flights I had experience with. We were given plenty of meals - as many as any other Asian cross-pacific flight - and nobody checked our luggage size and weight. So I was fairly happy with the experience. Also there was full on board flight entertainment.
