One of our carry-on bags was too big, so they charged us 60 euros to check it. Second Carry-on bag fit in the specified box at check-in, so we were let go through security with it. Then at the gate we were asked again and it was deemed NOT to fit. So I had to pay 70 (!) euros on top of the 20 euros for ‘priority boarding’, which included said carry-on bag. It would have easily fit in the overhead compartment. Just not right and way more expensive than other airlines. Paid more for luggage than the actual ticket. To top it off, they do not accommodate passengers to get seats together (which in time of covid should be encouraged) without a surcharge. But when we got to our seats, they did not hesitate to ask us to accommodate other people that wanted to sit together. We refused. Unacceptable. Never will we travel on Ryan air again.
No where is written cheap flights must be bad! But i guess ground crew and cabin crew on this airline can not smile or be polite. Even a simple tea was served with no sugar or napkins. Had to ask for it after. For comfort you know what you expecting so that was actually ok. But crews behaviour from the ground to cabin was really unwelcoming. I FELT LIKE I WAS DISTURBING THEM! Plus one big NO to them is no priority for families. EasyJet is an affordable airline too but they have humanity and a great customer care. For me traveling with baby i need priority. A lady held her baby for 30 minutes standing in the Q. Thats wrong! After priority they can invite families and that cost nothing for them but showing that they care about their customers! IF THEY DO!
I and my family got treated in an unfairly way upon check in! It was my first ever time to travel with Ryanair even though I travel 35 to 40 trips a year. I printed all paper for my trip from Dubai to London to Leeds and York in UK and then all paper for my trip to Italy incluyding PCR tests, hotels and trains. However, I couldnt check in online with confirmation email I received from Kayyak so I thought its ok I can just go to Ryanair desk on arrival to airport to check in. On arrival to Ryanair desk, the lady I spoke to wasnt professional and in fact was very rude. The minute she knew I didnt check in online she looked at me and asked me to pay £55 each to check in and when I asked her nicely to check with her supervisor if anything can be done to reduce charges she said to me "I'm the manager today and nothing you can do otherthan paying the £55 for each one of you!". I had to pay £275 for the 5 of us and when I said to her I'll send a complaint about this she said I dont care I dont work for Ryanair!. The delay she caused us to check in made us not making it to plane ontime and that made the situation even worst. I had to pay another 1100 euro on airfrance to make it to Rome. I'm just hoping that you can invistigate this case and then let me know the outcome. Kind regards, Ismat firstname.lastname@example.org +971561855581
It was a great flight staff A1 and beautiful flying from knock, hadn't done for years , hot paninis great food better than Emmirates I flew with over the Christmas
Super was all
Ryanair priced the tickets for our flights, for my wife and I at $40 for both of us. By the time we ended up paying for everything it was $533. They said we get priority boarding which really meant nothing. Yes we got to be the first ones on the bus, but once the bus got to the plane, whoever got off the bus first was the one who actually had priority. And then our next flight from Manchester there was no priority boarding. However got to the door of the terminal and was the first to walk out to the plane, they had priority boarding.
For once in a long while, our flight was delayed - because the aircraft arrived late - but that was only delayed by about 30 minutes (which was bad). However, the crew boarded us very efficiently and quickly (which was good). But the original delay meant that the aircraft was directed to use a different runway in Gatwick than would normally be used - and that runway had less capacity apparently - so that added further to the delay (which was also bad). Anyway, the bottom line was we arrived in Dublin about 45 minutes later than scheduled. It might have been longer but I think the captain made up a bit of time in the air (which was also good). Having said all that, I would definitely use Ryanair again because this delay was not something that has not happened to us on other Ryanair flights in the recent past. in fact, my wife and I are due to fly with them to Dubrovnik next week so I'll be ineterested to see how they do with the outbound and return flights then.
Flight boarded very late and then flight took off over 2hrs late. No food and drinks provided at airport despite law. Then before landing in Berlin, crew announced that the flight was so delayed that the airport was closed for landings and flight was diverted to Hanover. Flight crew stated over the PA that buses would be waiting at airport to take passengers to Berlin. In fact, no buses or help was provided and passengers were left looking for their own way to Berlin at 1am, when there were very few options Bad bad bad conduct
not a lot
I paid for extra legroom in row 2?There isn't any and to radd insult to injury the person next to me had been allocated his seat without paying any more than the basic fare.I spent most of the flight in a vacant standard seat which gave me more leg room than than that which I had paid for.It was a total ripoff.
