Cheap Car Hire in Meatpacking District, New York from HK$39

Called to tell me there were no cars but then didn't cancel my reservation.

Good price, good car!

Staff was excellent, very efficient.

Car smelled like smoke. Dings and scratches all over car. Wasn't told it would be the smallest of Range Rover models. Car engine overheating and needed coolant so I had to go buy some and pour it in the engine myself.

Easy pickup, dropoff was uncertain

Not sure why I was not able to book using the portal and had to call Kayak.

Staff friendly and car was ready to go. Hate that it had only half a tank of gas.

car was fine, so was the very central location in NYC. unfortunately, the car hadn‘t been cleaned (there were french fries under the seat) and the drop-off location in DC had been closed months earlier, so I had to drive around during rush hour to find one where I could actually drop off the car.

We were not able to rent a car for 3 hours. Made 3 different reservation as they complained about payment methods, then charged double of the cost of the reservation for unknown reasons. I will definitely seek NY legal claim against Hertz. They made my family’s trip a night mare. We finally got a car through another well known rental company who took 5 mins, no issues. Extremely dissatisfied to say the least.

Everyone at 18 Morton was cheerful and helpful.
