Cheap Condor flights

Like Ryanair for longhaul flights so you have to suffer longer. That was the first and last time I book with condor.

I have never experienced such a frustrating check in process. They made us check our roller bags that I have always traveled with to Germany and other European countries. Their carry on allowance is 8 kg for all of you carry ins combined. So even though they say you can take a carry-on and a personal item affectively, you can only take one item on the plane.

Myself and family have decided that we will not fly on Condor ever again. We used them to fly from Portland Oregon to Frankfurt R/T combined with partner airlines for the next hop to/from Athens. What did we like? Nothing. Terrible boarding process, very unorganized with close to zero information provided through the whole process. Baggage transfer to connecting flights went poorly. These were not inexpensive or “budget” tickets and Condors policy is to make you pay for everything. To check-in online early, pay. To modify your seat assignments, pay. They even give you the option for guaranteed carry-on baggage space but again, pay (we didn’t use this but it was offered). All alcohol, pay (we have not flown internationally for two years, is this a policy starting to be adopted by other airlines?). Regardless of convenience, we will stick with the standard major carriers in the future and avoid Condor.

Food was low in quality. The comfort was the worst I’ve ever had.

This was my first and definitely last experience with condor. Our flight was delayed for two and a half hours, the crew was extremely unprofessional and not helpful. We were told that our connecting flight that we missed due to condor being late will be rebooked, but that wasn’t the case. I was stranded at the Frankfurt airport with two kids for over 10 hours, no one with condor knew what they were doing or was willing to help, and condor crew that I talked to gave me conflicting and incorrect information. They finally rebooked us for the next day and sent us to a hotel to spend the night where we were given a two single bedroom for the three of us.

Nothing. They cancelled my flight for 1 day and lost my baggage😡

Our luggage was lost The time for the connection was not enough so we did not make it on time and had to wait for the next flight in 3 hours.
