San Sebastian climate

Located on the shores of the Bay of Biscay, San Sebastián is subject to an oceanic climate that brings humidity and the occasional chilly breeze in the summertime. During the summer (June to August) months, tourists take a chance to lounge in the balmy weather, with temperatures resting around 21 degrees C, on average. Getting around San Sebastian

Walking is the best way to see San Sebastián. The city is compact and tourist attractions are close together, and you can always use one of the efficient bus routes to get around. If you’re travelling to other Basque cities, or Barcelona and Madrid, you’ll find trains leaving from San Sebastián

Getting from the Airport to the City

If your flight lands at San Sebastián Airport (EAS), you can either hop on a bus or taxi to get to the city centre. If your flight arrives in Bilbao Aiport (BIO), buses leave for Bilbao every 20 minutes, where you can then catch a bus or train to San Sebastián.
