Cheap Car Rentals in Las Vegas

The car wasn’t ready when we picked up and had to be cleaned so we had to wait quite a while, which put us behind on our trip. But, other than that our experience was great. Staff was helpful and nice, particularly when we dropped the car off. I wish I remembered her name, but the person who checked us in was fantastic!

The agent at your location gave us a price of over $500 for a 2 day rental which was $124 including taxes & insurance. She said we were unable to use kayak website. She said we had to pay their location fee. I had confirmation & intinerary that I showed her with this price.I offered to show it to her again she wouldn’t look at it. She continued to argue with myself and my wife. We said fine we’re not taking this car. We called Uber to come pick us up. We were waiting outside for Uber to come get us and take us back downtown to our hotel. Then after about 5 minutes the agent came back outside. She said there was an error in the dates of our booking. She then said we could have the car for the price it said in my confirmation. I really think that this employee should be warned if not fired for trying to scam us out hundreds of dollars. While I was outside I spoke to another customer he said they were being charged $900 for a 1 week rental. He thought this was ridiculous. If I was him I would have walked away. He got scammed big time. This location really needs to be investigated. It was a horrible experience for us on our holiday. Cheers Rick Grimard

One of the best car rental company for now

The car was great but drop off was very confusing and is still ongoing five days after dropping off at the address given to drop off. I dropped off within ten hours but Avis is acknowledging it. Completely frustrating and unacceptable.

The car had an issue connecting to my Phone for GPS - was disconnecting every couple of minutes. Otherwise the checkin and checkout was a breeze and the car worked as expected. Drove almost 1500 miles over the course of a week without any problems.

Arrived at the counter and they wanted to charge almost twice the pre booked price.

Terrible

Instead of waiting 25 minutes to have my economy rental cleaned the agent should’ve offered me the full size upgrade at no additional cost not $10/day

Most Las Vegas hotels on the Strip don't allow pick up or drop off of rental car customers. One has to take Uber or public transit to get there

The two people ahead of us were refused their booking amounts as booked through third party, such as your site., and turned away unless willing to pay between $100-150 US added amount. Both left in anger. Our service attendant forced additional insurance at $150 US, claiming it was not optional as they would not accept our Canadian insurance. My insurance from Canada has been accepted for the last 25 years in Las Vegas no problems. We called head office in Orlando and then attended the next day and had it reversed. Car windshield interior was very dirty to the point it was a hazard to drive in the evening sun, to see pedestrians. Will never rent from Advantage again. We will be contacting the owner in Orlando regarding the rental employees tactics.

The price they quoted us onsite vs kayak was very different. They added on extra fees & taxes. They even asked us for the Declarations page of our car insurance in order to remove their extra coverage off our reservation. It went from $80 to $150. You need to communicate with them to be able to give us a more realistic quote. The shuttle was another story. We jumped on the main car rental shuttle only to find out afterwards that we needed to jump on ANOTHER shuttle after that to get to Advantage. There was no sign or anything directing us on how to get to Advantage. We had to ask where Advantage was to find out we had to take another shuttle. The Advantage shuttle driver was very nice & sweet.

Wish more details like deposit amount, taxes and fees were better discussed/outlined. Was charged an extra day but contested.

My trip was cancelled but I couldn't cancel the car rental because I didn't notice when I reserved the car that it was at an un-cancelable rate. So in essence I paid $250 for nothing.

Better communication from the lady at the express booth.

The only thing that was kind of a hassle was that Thrifty was supposed to be open until midnight. We got there at 11:30 and they were closed. We had to go to their partner company, had to get in line with all of their clients, along with all of their partners clients. Didn't get our car until well after 1 o'clock. We did get a nice upgrade for our trouble though, which was a VERY nice surprise.

They did not have the vehicle I reserved. They failed and lied about calling me to advise me. I will think twice about renting from this site…Rampart Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. I had to scramble to get a rental from another company.

Got over charged

The offer was fraudulent. Hertz tried to substitute a car that was NOT equivalent to the advertised model. Our family would not fit in the substitute car, nor would it be able to travel to our destination. We were forced to pay hundreds of dollars more to get the vehicle advertised. Furthermore, Hertz recorded the vehicle as fully charged when it was only 38% charged. If we had not taken pictures to prove this, we would have been fraudulently charged an additional $35. We returned with vehicle with double this amount. The charging settings were also adjusted suspiciously to stop at 79%. Had we not noticed (or had proof of not being charged to begin with), the setting would prevent charging to the 80% level needed to avoid the $35 charge. I am considering making a formal protest to the state attorney.

Beware they charge a $100 cancellation fee.

We have paid for a BMW X5 but when the suitcases did not enter they gave us a Dooge Durango, the windshield wiper was empty, the driver's seat did not work the buttons and you could not adjust it to your needs and it did not have a sunroof or GPS. They told us that being of a lower category would make us a refund and the invoice that we have received is what was paid at the time of collection. The delivery boy is very friendly but you find the surprise when you leave two hours later from your pick-up because the suitcases do not enter. Dissatisfied with the service that has not complied with the return after having delivered it with full fuel and in perfect condition when delivered.

The vehicle was nice, the convenience was great and the price was unbeatable
