The gentleman who showed me the vehicle was very kind & funny.

The pick-up process was very long. I told to go to one location but when I got there found out that location was closed & to go to another location on the other side of town. When I got to that location I still had to wait nearly an hour before I was able to take the vehicle. The original pickup time was noon, but I wasn't able to drive it until 3:30 due to the vehicle "not being ready". Additionally, the drop off was very unorganized, I stood in line for more than 20 minutes until someone finally acknowledged me. It was then that I was able to hand them the keys & they will email me a receipt, but because they were short staffed I wasn't able to go over the vehicle with them in person Also, the location has very limited parking so there are vehicles scattered everywhere & stacked 4 deep in addition to parking on the side streets. This location seemed very unorganized & not very friendly

I ended up having to pay for LT parking and I live here. It wasn't clear that pickup/ dropoff was one and the same as the sign stated Rental Dropoffs. Somehow the price was $10 higher than the stated price. Because I had to park in LT parking I got lost trying to walk all the way over to the Rental car area. It would've been probably a 3 mile walk. I had to talk to the LT parking pay attendants about how to get to it and one of them happened to be leaving and gave me a ride. I will never rent from Avis at the airport again or any AVIS as they raised the price on me after I had a reservation.

The staff member was excellent. However, since the rental came from a third party site, he didn’t have the car I reserved. I reserved a small SUV and he only had a Toyota Camry. He cleaned the one that just came in out and I took it as that was the only option. It was smoked in and banged up on the outside. He went above and beyond to get me something. Im glad our 4 suitcases for our 10 day trip fit in the trunk!

Drop off was perfect and timely. Pickup was an hour wait, we had a nice trainee who was ignored by supervisor every time she tried to ask question. When I asked Supervisor the question the trainer was asking, she snapped and said she was Busy processing the customer who cut in line on front of us.Felt bad trainee, who was taking the heat.

We did not have a full tank of gas, actually only half full. No windshield wiper fluid, wipers were not the best, no manual, and the warning light for key fob was lit the entire time. We wanted a mid- size SUV and the Honda HR-V wasn’t exactly a mid- size; it is considered a sub compact. So very disappointed in the size of the vehicle. And last but not least, we got two reminders, one which was a certified letter reminding us we did not return the car on time. We did return it on time and when we called to clarify, he said it was all taken care of. A week later we got a certified letter saying it wasn’t returned. We never did get an email or text verifying anything. Not cost or return. Very frustrating.
